How nail art fits into your appointment

Nail art is an add-on, so it starts with a base service: a gel manicure, dip powder, an acrylic set or Gel-X. Once the base color is on, your technician adds the design, then seals everything under a top coat. Simple accents like dots, lines, French tips or a single flower take a few minutes a nail. Hand-painted scenes, lettering and 3D pieces take longer.

Pricing starts at $5 per nail for accents. Chrome and cat-eye finishes are +$15 each, and switching a gel finish to matte or velvet costs nothing extra. Because a full design can range from two accent nails to ten hand-painted ones, the desk quotes custom sets before we start.

Bringing a reference photo

Screenshots from Instagram, Pinterest or TikTok are the fastest way to show what you want. Bring one or two photos rather than ten, and tell us which part you love: the colors, the shape or the art itself. Your nail length and shape change how a design fits, so we may suggest scaling it down or moving it to fewer nails.

Planning nails for a date

For a wedding, birthday, trip or holiday, book the base service and the art together and tell us the date. Booking two to four days ahead keeps the design fresh on the day without leaving it so late that a chip has no time to be fixed. Groups getting matching or coordinated designs can see how we handle several guests at once on the bridal and party pages.

How long nail art lasts

Sealed art lasts as long as the base under it: about 2 to 3 weeks on gel, 3 to 4 weeks on dip, and until your next fill on acrylic. Flat designs wear best. Rhinestones, charms and 3D flowers sit higher on the nail, so they are usually the first thing to catch on hair or clothing.

Caring for designed nails

Don't pick at gems; if one comes loose, save it and we can reset it at your next visit. Wear gloves for cleaning, since harsh products dull chrome and glitter. A drop of cuticle oil each day keeps the skin around the design neat in photos.
