Walk-In or Appointment? How to Get Your Nails Done in Port St. Lucie, Including Sundays

· 5 MIN READ · G SALON & SPA

A pedicure in progress at a G Salon & Spa pedicure chair in Port St. Lucie, with toes freshly painted in orange and peach

The short answer: both work at G Salon & Spa. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday through Sunday during open hours, and we are open on Sundays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Booking online or calling (772) 621-9977 first skips any wait, and we will tell you how soon we can take you. We are closed on Mondays.

Some older web listings still say Monday is open, or that we are open seven days a week. That is out of date. Our current hours are below.

Are you open on Sunday?

Yes. We are open Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and walk-ins are welcome. Sunday is a shorter day than the rest of the week, six hours instead of nine and a half, so the practical limit is the closing time. A quick service such as a 30-minute Classic Manicure ($25) or a nail repair (from $5) fits easily late in the afternoon. A longer service like a Gel-X set, listed at 75 to 90 minutes, is better started earlier in the day.

If you work weekdays, Sunday gives you a longer window than a lunch break. Call ahead and we will tell you how things look.

When walking in works well

  • A simple service. A Classic Manicure, a gel manicure or a Classic Pedicure on a weekday or Sunday is the easiest thing to walk in for.
  • A repair. A nail repair is listed at 10 to 15 minutes and starts at $5. Repairs rarely need an appointment.
  • Removal. Safe removal of an enhancement is listed at 20 to 30 minutes.
  • You are flexible on the time. If you can wait or come back, walking in is fine.

When to book ahead instead

A booking holds your time. These are the cases where it is worth the two minutes.

  • Friday and Saturday. These are our busiest days, especially late morning into mid-afternoon. A booking skips any wait.
  • Detailed nail art. Detailed freehand art takes longer, so booking ahead is safer than walking in. Bring a screenshot or a Pinterest pin of the look. Chrome and cat-eye are +$15 and are easiest to plan when you book. See chrome nails and cat-eye nails.
  • A set that takes more than an hour. Gel-X (75 to 90 minutes), an acrylic full set (60 to 90 minutes) and the top pedicure tiers (90 minutes) all need a block of time.
  • A group, or two people at once. Book back to back online or call so we can line you up. For a larger group such as prom or a bridal party, call us.
  • Before an event or a holiday. Booking ahead before photos, a wedding or a holiday is safer. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026.
  • A tight window. If you are on a lunch break, see lunch-break nails and tell the desk your time limit.

How to check the wait before you come

The simplest way is a call to (772) 621-9977. Tell us what you want and how much time you have, and we will tell you how soon we can take you. You can also book online for a set time, which skips the wait altogether. If your plans change, call and we will move you.

What to bring

  • A screenshot or Pinterest pin of the look you want. Your technician will match it or suggest a version that suits your nail length and shape.
  • A rough idea of your time limit, so the desk can suggest a service that fits.
  • Any removal needs: if you are wearing an old set, mention it so we can plan the extra 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Your questions about price. Our FAQ and services page list prices, and the technician confirms the total before work starts.
